If you’re a parent of a 2-year-old and meet specific criteria, (government benefits), you may be eligible for 15 hours of funded childcare per week.

For all 3- and 4-year-olds, the government provides 15 hours of funded childcare per week. 

If you’re a working parent, your child may be currently eligible for up to 15 hours per week of funded childcare. From September 2025, this amount is looking to increase, with eligible parents being entitled to 30 hours of childcare per week, as long as they are over the age of 9 months. This funding will commence from the term after they turn 9 months, until they reach school age.
